KTM Worldwide Recall of DUKE Models due to the risk of front brake failure. Find out if yours is affected

Jan 28, 2018

KTM HAS recently declared a worldwide review of various models in its Duke run over a potential blame that could cause front brake disappointment.

A potential shortcoming in the Brembo ace barrel cylinder could make it break under overwhelming braking, KTM says.

The models influenced are the 2015 690 Duke R, 1290 Super Duke R and 1290 Super Duke R Special Edition, and in addition the 2016 1290 Super Duke GT.

KTM says clients are being exhorted exclusively by letter to ’quickly contact an approved KTM merchant to organize an arrangement for substitution’. The work will take around 90 minutes, the firm says.
